The West Midlands Regional Skills Partnership (RSP) has been established to ensure a simple, demand-led approach to tacking the skills challenge in the West Midlands. This partnership offers a forum for employers, learning & skills providers and other public bodies to collectively influence how the delivery of skills, workforce development, business support and labour market services can provide the best support for regional businesses and deliver the West Midlands Economic Strategy.

Members of the RSP are working in co-operation to ensure its long term goals are met. They are:

• Every adult and young person has basic employability skills and opportunities to progress.

• Every employer has the skilled people they need, is making effective use of their skills and is investing in workforce development.

• The West Midlands has a growing number of high performing organisations, a knowledge-based economy and a strong enterprise culture.
